Tory senate leader steps down

At the federal level, Senator Marjory Lebreton is stepping down as Government Leader in the Senate.Lebreton says she’ll stay on as a Conservative Senator for Ontario until she’s required to retire when she turns 75 in two years. The latest move comes before an expected cabinet shuffle in the Conservative caucus. Lebreton is a veteran political organizer who worked closely with Brian Mulroney, who named her to the senate in 1993.
